The Britannia Guest House has seven bedrooms, four are ensuite, and offers excellent flexibility for small family groups. There is one single room with adjacent bathroom that can be combined with a family or remain separate for single occupancy.

The bathrooms are modern with glass walk in and power showers. Some of the building's features are in the original Victorian style and well preserved.

Off road parking for all our guests is a must in this highly popular area of the south coast and makes it an ideal family holiday location.

Pauline Mitchell welcomes you to the Britannia Guest House, which has been established for 20 years with the same ownership and has acquired a substantial reputation for its high standards of cleanliness and personal service.
Britannia obtained its name as Pauline's husband had served nine of his twenty two years in the Royal Navy on board Her Majesty's Royal Yacht Britannia, now exhibited in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The 1885 Victorian house is grand in style and boasts some fantastic original features, including high ceilings with deep ornate cornices and the original, traditionally tiled floors.
We offer our guests large bright spacious rooms that are decorated and furnished to a high standard (See photographs).
Breakfast is served from 7am to 9am in our traditionally styles dining room, furnished with some victorian antiques and interesting curios and artwork. French doors lead to the heart of the house, "The Kitchen" where your english breakfast is cooked to order by your resident proprietor, Pauline.
We have a great location on Granada Road, just one minute from South Parade Pier, the beach, canoe lake and the bus terminal, which can take you wherever you may wish to go.
The Spinnaker Tower and Gunwarf Quays are just under 2 miles away and offering spectacular views over the Solent and surrounding area, while Gunwarf Quays offers you outlet shopping on a large scale. Also, you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants, bars and clubs. The Naval Historic Dockyard is also within the two mile vicinity.
